Manu Garba Names Unchanged Line Up For Germany Test

Manu Garba will field the the same starting lineup at the ongoing Fifa Under 20 World Cup. It means the so-called marquee players Isaac Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Musa Yahaya and Moses Simon have not been included in the starting XI for the round of 16 clash against Germany.


Despite returning to full training, coach Manu Garba has elected not to name Ifeanyi Matthew in his starting line-up but there is a spot reserved for skipper Musa Mohammed, who had health concerns earlier this week.

Joshua Enaholo will start in goal while Ndidi, Bello and Abdullahi will act as his shield in addition to right - back Mohammed.

The trio of Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, Kingsley Sokari and Akinjide Idowu have formed a good understanding in midfield and have retained their spots.

Godwin Saviour and Bernard Bulbwa will flank Taiwo Awoniyi in attack again.
