Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit Boavista has announced it has struck a deal to sign Uche Nwofor from Lierse.
The Nigeria international will be arriving the Estádio do Bessa at zero - cost as his deal with the Belgian Pro League side was due to run out on June 30th 2015.
Uche Nwofor has penned a three-year deal that will keep him in Portugal until the end of the 2017 - 2018 season if the two parties agree to keep to the terms of the agreement.
In 2011, the 23-year-old began his career in Europe with VVV Venlo after rejecting the overtures of Benfica.
The former Enugu Rangers and Anambra Pillars forward spent time on loan at SC Heerenveen during the 2013/14 season before joining Lierse in September of last year as a free agent.
Nwofor joins fellow Nigeria national - teamers Reuben Gabriel and Michael Uchebo at Boavista. The trio are represented by the same intermediary, Tony Harris.
