Ängelholm's Nigerian ace Samuel Monday Ayinoko has equalled his best ever goal tally in a season.
He scored a double in the 4-3 loss to table-toppers GIF Sundsvall in a Swedish Superettan game decided on Thursday.
The 20-year-old, one of the standout players that graduated from the famous Kwara Football Academy, has now notched up 3 goals in 6 matches which makes him statistically the leading scorer for the Skane County based outfit.
''I am a natural midfielder but I can play virtually at any position. It depends on the pattern the coach wants me to play.”
''So in my team, I play everywhere. All the goals I have scored do far were from a midfield role, so I thank God,'' says the former Benfica youth-teamer to SL10.ng.
Samuel Monday Ayinoko might be making the back pages for his strikes but Angelholm are underachieving because they are conceding too many goals.
''What I can say is that we have a good team perhaps our pattern didn't give us the result we needed. The game changes, you don't get what you want sometimes,'' Ayinoko added.
Angelholm, who are 10th in the standings, will entertain Varnamo at Olympia (Helsingborg) on Monday, May 12 in their next league fixture.
