According to a report by the online edition of Greek newspaper, Gavros,
Olympiakos striker Michael Olaitan, accompanied by his manager
Paschalis Tountouris, is set to travel to Belgium before the end of this
week to undergo further tests.
Since that unfortunate incident during the derby with
Panathinaikos held in March, the former Flying Eagles star has been
absent from the workout of the Reds.
After the date with the top cardiologist in Belgium, the
specialist will recommend whether the Nigerian will continue playing or
hang up his boots.
In the meantime, based on tests earlier conducted at the Metropolitan Hospital, his medical condition is positive.
Before the setback, Michael Olaitan was churning out brilliant
performances for Olympiakos scoring six goals in his last seven matches
in the Super League.
He still has a deal with the Greek champions until the summer of 2017.
