Sponsor of the Super Eagles, Guinness
Foreign Extra Stout, has concluded broadcast sponsorship arrangements to
bring matches of the Brazil 2014 World Cup live to Nigerians throughout
the duration of the tournament.
Guinness recently signed a partnership
agreement with Optima Sports Management International as the Official
Broadcast Sponsors. The partnership means all the matches will be
broadcast on all partner stations of the Broadcasting Organisation of
Nigeria. The company has also partnered with Brila FM.
Mr. Seni Adetu, the Managing Director
Guinness Nigeria Plc, said, “This partnership with OSMI will bring the
World Cup actions to all Nigerians on all BON partner stations across
Nigeria. This will definitely be the largest coverage of any sporting
event in Nigeria in a long time.
“When we launched the Fly With The
Eagles campaign, we promised our consumers and fans of the Eagles our
continuous support for Nigerian football, particularly the Eagles. We
are bringing these matches live to Nigerians to further reiterate our
commitment in this regard.”
