Uchenna Kanu Propels Delta Queens To Second League Victory

Uchenna Kanu scored a brace to propel Delta Queens to a well deserved 2-0 victory against youthful FC Robo on Saturday.


The forward scored in each half to hand the 2011/12 league champions a win at the Oleh Township Stadium.

Kanu put her side ahead in the 43rd minute when she side-stepped her marker to put Delta Queens 1-0 into the break.

Delta Queens continued to push for the vital second goal after the break and they came close to adding a second goal in the 74th minute.

Uchenna then killed off the game with a much needed striker seven minutes from time.
