Remo Stars nicks maximum points in NNL match

Remo Stars secured maximum points in their Nigeria National League week 12 encounter with Bendel Insurance of Benin courtesy of two first half strikes from Awazie Ekene and Bajowa Segun.


The Sky Blue Stars needed to get back to wining ways after failing to secure maximum points in their last 5 matches and picking up just two points.

Ekene Awazie who has been impressive this month opened the scoring in the 20th minute, putting the ball over his marker on two occasions before striking the ball home while Bajowa Segun scored the second few minutes later.

Benard.O pulled a goal back for Insurance in the second half on the hour mark.

Remo Stars travel down to Ede to take on Prime FC in the week 13 mid-week fixtures.
