Ajibade Omolade, has revealed he is close to joining Nigeria top tier
side, Sunshine Stars and believes a deal could be finalised in the next
couple of weeks or days.
The former Enyimba star had an unsuccessful trial with ENPPI, he is discussing with the management of the Akure Gunners and would return to Nigeria to finalise the deal.
“I am currently being treated by ENPPI for a small injury I sustained, that explains why I am yet to be in the country to tie up the loose end of the negotiation,” he told futbalgalore.blogspot.com from Egypt.
The ex-Al Hilal left-back said he is still relevant to the game and was looking forward to helping the league development in Nigeria.
Heartland FC have joined Sunshine in the chase for the two-time CAF Champions League winner.
