WE ARE IN GOOD STEAD TO GO THROUGH-DAWSON

Tottenham captain Michael Dawson says his side are in a good position ahead of their Europa League quarter-final second leg against Basel.

The north London side found themselves 2-0 down in the first leg at White Hart Lane last week before Emmanuel Adebayor and Gylfi Sigurdsson scored to rescue a draw.

And, though Swiss side Basel hold the advantage of two away goals, Dawson is confident Spurs can still get through to the last four.

He told reporters: "You can never tell what's going to happen in football but, mostly, you get what you deserve.

"So it's down to us and we're in a good position to go through, despite what some people think."

Tottenham need to win in Switzerland or draw by a scoreline of 3-3 or higher to go through on away goals.
