SANTOS LUGANA ZOOMS TO THE FINAL

Santos Laguna moved into the CONCACAF Champions League final after a 1-1 draw with the Seattle Sounders on Tuesday.

The Mexican outfit went into the second leg at home with a 1-0 lead after winning at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on April 3.

Pedro Caixinha's men were in control of the tie when Carlos Quintero opened the scoring in the 21st minute in Torreon.

Lamar Neagle pulled a goal back for the Sounders in the 73rd minute to set up a thrilling finish, but Santos Laguna held on.

In the final, Santos Laguna will face either the Los Angeles Galaxy or Monterrey, who will take a 2-1 lead into the second leg of their semi-final on Wednesday.

Santos Laguna have never won the competition, but finished runners-up last season when they lost the final to Monterrey.
