BARELONA ARE THE FAVOURITES- LAHM

Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm believes Barcelona are favourites to win the Champions League despite his team's impressive displays.Runners-up last season, Bayern moved into the semi-finals with a 4-0 aggregate win over Juventus, completed with a 2-0 win in Turin on Wednesday.

Barcelona needed a 71st-minute goal from Pedro to overcome Paris Saint-Germain on away goals in their quarter-final second leg.

But Lahm, whose team clinched the Bundesliga title on Saturday, said the La Liga giants were still favourites.

"I think there are no easy opponents in the semis, everyone deserves to be there because all four teams are top teams," he said.

"I still think that the favourites are Barcelona but I think others are close."

Bayern will find out on Friday who they meet in the last four, with Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund or Barcelona the other sides in the draw.

Attacker Thomas Mueller is unfazed about who his side draw, and was proud of Bayern's performance at Juventus Stadium.

"It's obviously a great feeling. We knew we'd done well in the first leg so we had more to lose than to gain," he said.

"After a little while we started getting into the game and when you manage to win here 2-0 you can't have done much wrong.

"That makes us proud, but because everyone expected us to go through after the result in the first leg, it means that we are back to our day to day graft.

"Let's see who we get on Friday and I won't say who I'd prefer because I don't care."

Bayern defender David Alaba was left delighted with his side's performance and is pleased to be in the semi-finals.

"For me personally this win is huge, I'm really happy to be able to play at such a level and it's just amazing that we have managed to go through today," he said.
