The former Everton defender still has a lot of admirers within Turkey but his huge wages of around 2.3 million euros per season has discouraged his suitors from lodging an official bid.
The transfer window shuts on Friday at 17:00 hours but the Turkish Football Federation could extend that deadline to 12 midnight.
Joseph Yobo, 33, on Friday, has been courted by Sivasspor and Kayseri Erciyesspor this summer.
