2012 Nigeria Premier League runners-up Enugu
Rangers will host six-time champions Enyimba in an ‘Oriental Derby’ to
open the league on March 9th 2013. The draws was conducted in Abuja on Friday with club representatives in attendance.
Defending champions,Kano Pillars will start their title defence in another rivalry match in Bauchi against at Wikki Tourists.
Die-hard fans of the game in Kwara State will also be relishing the Ilorin war.Saraki Boys(ABS) and Afonja Warriors(Kwara United)have been scheduled to clash on March 10th 2013.
The league will now be played as a regular season after the clubs rejected an abridged league proposal of the interim management board of the league led by Nduka Irabor.
