JACKPOT GALORE

AFCON 2013 Kings Super Eagles have raked-in over #900m as gifts from well meaning Nigerians.

Glo Communication owner,Michael Adenuga has so far been the highest donor,having redeemed his $1 million promise to the Super Eagles soon after they were received by Nigerian number one citizen Goodluck Ebewele Jonathan(GEJ) on arrival from South Africa.

Influencial Emeka Ofor and three other top business mugul each gave out $500,000, which sum-up $2 million.

The Federal Government also doled out the sum of 150 million Naira to the team.

The richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote, splashed out the sum of #130m.

Delta State Government gave team Eagles a total of #81m, while Lagos State Executive Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola hosted the AFCON winners and shelled #59m on them.

Apart from the cash, Federal government gave out a plot of land each to Eagles and the coaches in Abuja, which is valued at about 10 million Naira a plot, while Delta State gave team gaffer Stephen Okechukwu Keshi a duplex in Asaba.

The Big Boss was also given a Range Rover Sport and Toyota Camry by Glo Chief Michael Adenuga.

The players were also bestowed with the Member Of The Order Of Niger(MON) honorary awards.
