NAIJA PLAYERS' SCORECARD.....COMPILED BY ABAYOMI ADEMETAN AND AYODELE FASUSI

*Real Betis massacred Malaga three-nil on Sunday.Super Eagles midfielder Nosahare Emmanuel Igiebor was not listed by Betis.

*Molde lost 1-2 to Copenhagen.Energertic forward Daniel Chima registered Molde's only goal in the 90th minute of action.

*Former Enyimba FC star,Victor Obinna Nsofor was on target,helping Lokomotiv Moscow to a three-nil win at Stromsgodset.

*A late flurry of bookings saw Nigeria left back Elderson Uwa Echiejile sent off in Sporting Braga’s 3-2 home win over Vitoria Guimaraes on Saturday.

*At the Riverside,Danny Shittu helped Millwall to a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough.The big centre-back lasted the length,in a energy-sapping affair.
 
*West Brom forward Peter Osaze Odemwingie was an 87th minute substitute in a 2-1 home win over Sunderland.

*Sochaux  held Rennes to an exciting 2-2 draw.Former youth star,Onyekachi Apam(Rennes) was an unused substitute.
  
*Brentford were held to a goalless draw by Walsall.On-loan Norwich midfielder Tom Adeyemi was substituted in the 75th minute of thick action.He looked sharp in the middle of the park.

*The inclusion of Oduamandi Nnamdi and Osamerien Ebagua didn't stop Varese from going down two-nil at FC Verona.The attackers both lasted the length.

*Former Kwara Stars number one custodian,Dele Aiyenugba was twice beaten in goal for Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv.The Nigerian international lasted the length in a league game against Ironi Kiryat Shmona.


*Elazigspor won 2-1 at home to Antalyaspor.Ex-Golden Eaglets captain,Isaac Promise netted the away team's only goal in the first half.

*Former Nigeria Premier League(NPL)topscorer Orok Akarandut continued to impress,netting Stade Tunisien's only goal,in a league match against Stade Gabesien.The ex-Akwa United star lasted the length.

*Oud-Heverlee were victors at KV Mechelen,winning 2-1.The winning goal of the match was netted by Derick Chuka Ogbu.

*Schalke 04 defeated Fortuna Dusseldorf 2-1 on Saturday.Nigerian-born defender,Leon Balogun covered his territory,but was unlucky to end up on the loosing side.Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke was not listed.

*Manchester City continued to put the pressure on Manchester United with a 2-0 win against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.Super Eagles duo,John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses were actively involved in the colours of the London-based outfit. 

Montpellier netted a late strike to douse the flame in Evian.Veteran forward John Chukwudi Utaka blazed the trail with his fantastic performance on Saturday.

*Portimonense defeated Maritimo B 2-1 on Sunday.An 83rd minute strike by Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo ensured that Portimonense got the maximum points against Maritimo B.The lanky attacker earned rave reviews for his man-of-the-match display.

*At Celtic Park,Glasgow Celtic defender Ambrose Efe was substituted in the first half.The home side ran riot against Dundee FC,winning five-nil.

*Molineux fans were made to lick their wounds,as Cardiff City defeated home side, Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 on Sunday.25-year-old goalie Carl Ikeme lasted the length for Wolves.

*Fenerbahce came back from a goal scored by Kalu Uche to defeat Kasimpasa 3-1 on Sunday.It was Uche's 13th goal of the season in the Turkish League.Also in action was Joseph Yobo,who gave a good account of himself in the colours of the winning side.

 *At the Madrigal,Las Palmas forced Villarreal to a one-all draw.2007 FIFA U-17 topscorer, Chrisantus Macauley(Las Palmas) was substituted in the 46th minute of action.Villarreal striker Ikechukwu Uche was not listed.

*Odion Jude Ighalo's strike was not enough to save Granada from the claws of Celta Vigo.Celta won 2-1 at home on Sunday.
