Vanhaezebrouck: Nigerian Ronaldo Is Suffering From Fatigue

Moses Simon's whirlwind start to his career in Belgium might be halted this weekend, as the 19-year-old is battling fatigue and might be on the bench when Gent take on Lierse in the Belgium Juplier league.

The Gent winter signing has twice been voted best player of the week in Belgium, aside from picking up four man of the award in seven games where he has six goals, a tally which includes a hattrick against Lokeren, but he is most likely going to start from the bench due to exhaustion from previous games.

Manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck made this known at his pre match conference, and also revealed the Nigerian didn't train all week long.

"Simon didn't train all week long, due to an overload of the abductor and only did light workout, though we are wary of the threat of Lierse in this weekend game we might be tempted to rest him and introduce him if need be" he said.

Rated the one of the best talents in Belgium, his goals and performances have played a big role in lifting Genk to third on the league log in Belgium, four points shy of leaders Club Brugge.
