Uche's Strike Secures Priceless Three Points For Levante

Nigeria international Kalu Uche notched the winner as Levante kept their survival hopes alive after a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Eibar on Friday.

The hosts were stunned by a 53rd minute goal from Saul Berjon Perez.

Five minutes after the hour mark, David Barral grabbed the eqauliser at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia, while Uche gave his side all three points with a priceless winner in the 67th minute of action.

The 32-year-old now has three goals from six games, helping Levante climb out of the relegation zone.
Unlike last week when his goal ended up as a mere consolation, this time around his team held on for all three points, much thanks to Eibar getting reduced to 10 men.
Uche, whose previous spell in La-Liga playing for Espanyol and Almeria, ended with over 40 goals was brought in by Levante on a deal till the end of the season from Al-Rayyan of Qatar.
Prior to leaving Qatar he scored 7 times in the 8 games he played for the team but Levante have an option of making his move permanent if they beat the drop to the second division in Spain.
Levante occupies 16th spot on the 20-team Spanish Premier League with 24 points from 25 matches.
