Former Kwara United ace speaks on life in the Scandinavian Region

Mjallby AIF defensive component Gbenga Arokoyo has insisted he is ‘very happy’ in Sweden since his move from Glo Nigeria Premier League outfit Kwara United.

The defender has become a starter at the Swedish professional football club based in Hällevik, in the business end of the season, and the 20-year-old has admitted he is delighted with life in the Scandinavian country.
“I would tell any budding player to go to the Allsvenskanhe,” he told savidnews.com. “You get a different feeling – especially compared to some other upcoming leagues.
“It’s the first time I’ve left home so that’s been hard, but things are going well.
“I’m very happy, especially because we are trying our best in the League.
“It’s been twenty-two games though, and it’s been a very tough competition.
“I’m playing a bit further back that it did at Kwara United, but the big difference is how technical the League is compared to Nigeria.”
