Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand admitted he did all he could to convince Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford last summer.
It was speculated that Ronaldo could quit Real Madrid last summer and re-unite with United, with Rio confirming there was an attempt to lure him back to England.
