The management of Kano Pillars have redeployed two of their assistant coaches to the reserve team.
The duo, Kabiru Baleria and Ibrahim Musa, will work together as head coach and assistant coach respectively, till the end of the current season.
The decision was made after the management deliberated for some hours at the club’s headquarters in Kano. Reacting to the new development, the chairman of the board, Alhaji Abba Yola, said that the need for the two coaches to impact on the reserve team was the reason for the redeployment.
“We want them to use their experience to develop the skills and techniques of the boys, and breed talented players, that will form the nucleus of the senior team, in the nearest future,” Idris Milikawa, the media officer of the club quoted him as saying.
He also added that the technical committee chairman of the board, Professor Rabiu Mohammed has been appointed to serve as an adviser to the technical crew till the end of the season.
