Two goals in two minutes helps the Saints
Southampton scored two goals in two minutes at the start of the second-half for a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
New signing Pablo Osvaldo opened the scoring in the 47th minute and England striker Rickie Lambert added the second just two minutes later from a free kick - his 200th career league goal.
Crystal Palace forward Marouane Chamakh had appealed for a penalty in the first half, but was booked for diving instead in one of the visitors' few good chances.
It was Southampton's first home league win since March and came a week after beating Liverpool 1-0 away, putting the team provisionally into fourth place in the standings with 11 points from six games.
