Eagles Arrive Kaduna For Stallions, Accepts $5000 Malawi Win Bonus

The Super Eagles arrived Kaduna, the Kaduna State capital at about 6:40pm on Sunday, for Tuesday’s international friendly against Burkina Faso.

The team was received by Head of Competitions, Dr Mohammed Sanusis and in no time the team checked into the African Continental Hotel, were it will be lodged for the encounter.
The team had departed Calabar at about 2pm on an Arik Air flight to Abuja with Cross River Governor Senator Liyel Imoke on board the plane. From Abuja the team left by road for Kaduna.
As usual the team was warmly welcomed into the city with fans waiving frantically as the team’s bus glidded through the city to its hotel.
Two players out the 23 that featured against Malawi did not make the trip.
John Mikel Obi was excused by Head Coach because of slight calf knock, while Victor Moses left for England immediately to firm up his move to Liverpool from Chelsea, which happened almost on the last day of the transfar window.
The players also collected the bonuses offered by the NFF, which was $5000 for a win without any issue, with NFF President Aminu Maigari assuring that the amount will be jacked up once the finances of the federation stabilises.
