Supreme Court Target First Trophy After Demolishing NAF

Supreme Court FC will be gunning for their first ever trophy later this week when they take on FRSC FC in the final of ongoing Pre-season tournament.


Coch Fatai Osho handled side, produced a best team performance at the weekend with a 5-0 whitewashing of territorial neighbours, Nigeria Air Force, NAF FC in one of the semi-final games decided inside Area 3 playground.

Striker Peter Michael produced Man of the match show throughout the ninety (90) minutes of play as he bagged four goals in the stiff encounter. His goal  scoring moment began right from the 2nd minute of the match, just as he netted the last goal of the day via penalty.

Friday Jacob who now has four goals to his credit since the tournament began, entered his name in the scoring chat against NAF when he buried the fourth goal of the day.

With an eye towards finishing tops at the end of the final match which would be played on Thursday, Coach Fatai Osho marshaled-Supreme Court Squad would want to re-write history when they face FRSC FC in a mouthwatering final clash.

Both Supreme Court and FRSC are two FCT Clubs who would feature in this years’ Nigeria National League, NNL season when it gets under way April 17. Incidentally, they are using the pre-season competition to put their players in shape for the big task ahead.

For Supreme Court FC, also known as Apex Boys, getting into the final was historic.

“This is the very first time our team will make it to the final of this tournament. This shows, the team is no longer a push over. The players will be well motivated ahead of the season proper when they eventually win the competition, “posited Tolulope Oguntimehin who is the general manager of the club.

Rave of the moment, Michael with eight goals in his name so far in the tournament, submitted “My best is yet to come. It’s not all about me. The whole players are playing for each other.”
