Nwabuoku Sure Of Super Falcons' All African Games Credentials

Evelyn Nwabuoku has expressed the optimism that her team will not only qualify for the All Africa Games in Congo but will also win the gold medal at the games billed for September.

The mercurial Super Falcons skipper said that having missed qualifying for the last All Africa Games in Mozambique, the Falcons have resolved to appease Nigerians by beating Mali to qualify for the games and win the gold medal.

She said that majority of the players in the present Super Falcons squad are going to the AAG for the first time and would want to add the gold to their growing list of honours adding that their target is to show that they are the best in Africa by winning again.

“We are looking forward to qualifying for the AAG and get decorated with the gold medals in the women football event. We may not be able to win the World cup which precedes the AAG but we would by the grace of God not fail in Congo.

“Our target for the world cup is to reach the semi final. If we get to the final, it will be plus for us but we are going to give the world cup our best shot and see how it goes” the skipper stated.
