Etim Esin: The Pressure On Flying Eagles

Etim Esin has said the failure of the U-17 in Niger will cause a chain reaction of increased pressure on the Flying Eagles in Senegal.

The Emmanuel Amuneke-tutored side failed to impress in Niamey where they finished in fourth place and their failure could rub off wrongly on the U-20 team who are set to kick-off their campaign in the AYC at the weekend.

“When you don’t have the result then the problem starts but as soon as the situation changes then you are off the hook. I think it was a bad day in the office and it is up to Emmanuel as coach to restructure his squad but the mere fact that the U-17 failed to impress, all eyes will now turn to the U-20.”
