RESOLUTIONS AT THE 1ST ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) OF THE LEAGUE
MANAGEMENT COMPANY LTD (LMC) BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE 20 PREMIER
LEAGUE CLUBS HELD ON WEDNESDAY 4TH MARCH 2015 AT TOP RANKS GALAXY HOTEL
UTAKO ABUJA.
Pursuant to Article (70) of the Governance structure of the League
Management Company Ltd (LMC), the new board of the LMC headed by Mallam
Shehu Dikko and the 20 Premier League clubs convened for the First
Annual General Meeting of the Company.
The
meeting welcomed the 4 newly promoted Clubs ( Wikki Tourist FC, Kwara
United FC, 3SC and Gabros International FC) into the Premier League as
Ratified by the NFF and thus, the meeting duly admitted the promoted
teams to join the other 16 teams as members of the Company for 2015
Season.
The AGM having duly considered the
expenditure plans options presented by the Board along the Company's
projected revenue streams, duly adopted and ratified the proposed
budget of #3.5 billion naira for the 2014/2015 season as presented by
the Board.
The Meeting also adopted the proposed amendments to the rules of the 2013/2014 season for use in the 2014/2015 League Season.
The AGM approved the kick off date for the new season 2014/2015 to commence on Saturday 7th March 2015. And the registration will remain open and closed at week 9.
The
meeting approved the appointment of Henry Young & Co, a firm of
Chartered Accountants as independent Auditors of the Company for the
audit of the accounts of the LMC in line with the requirements of the
Governance Structure as well as filing at the regulatory Corporate
Affairs Commission (CAC).

and commended the several innovations initiated by the Board towards
further enhancing the appeal, quality and commercial value of the League
The
meeting approved, ratified and adopted all steps, actions, decisions,
appointments made by the promoters of the Company, pre-incorporation,
for the Company's incorporation and those by the former Board,
post-incorporation, for the ordinary operation of the Company and the
management and administration of the League.
The
AGM unanimously expressed confidence in the new board of the LMC and
assured them of maximum cooperation and good working relationship for
the realisation of the laudable plans, programmes and projections for
the League presented by the Board to the AGM.
