Taraba Queens Players Cries Out: ''We Won't Be Cheated This Time''

Players of Taraba Queens are not in sporting mood as the girls have resolved to protest the non payment of their salaries.

According to reports available to Futball Galore, the girls were paid only three months out of the six months of salaries that they were owed by the management of the club in the 2012/13 season.

The girls have been grumbling as they were also owed six months salaries and some other entitlement in the recently concluded Nigeria Women Premier League campaign.

“The show of shame we witnessed in 2013 might happen again. Most of us are the bread winners of our families,” the angry players told Futball Galore via Skype.

“The management are trying to be funny with what is due to us, as we heard the State Government will soon respond to us soonest.

“We just hope it's a rumour that they are planning to slash our salaries again. We won't agree to that this time around,” they chorused.

“If the management decides to cut our monies, we would stage a protest round the city of Jalingo.”
