It would be recalled that the Club campaigned in the recently concluded Nigeria Professional Football League campaign and ended up with a dismal performance, which culminated in the eventual drop to a less colourful league.
The technical manager of the team Hakeem Busari said the early resumption is to get lots of things ready ahead of the tough challenge of promotion, maintaining that setting out to gain promotion is different from just to campaign hence his decision for early resumption.
He said that life in the National league is a bit tough than that of the Elite League.
He therefore called on returning players not to joke with time and his program that every offense carries penalty in the new season.
The management of the club has saddled the tactician with the responsibility of returning the club back to the Elite Cadre and ensure the club is always in fine form.
