We won't be pushovers- Santana

Confluence Queens head coach Oluwole Santana insists his team will not be bullied by any of the big guns in the 2014 Nigeria Women Premier League, expected to kickoff on 15th February across 6 centres.

Confluence Queens struggled for form in the 2012/2013 season, this thrend is what the experienced gaffer is avoiding in the upcoming campaign.

And despite being mindful of an expected attacking onslaught by the likes of Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens and Pelican Stars, Santana says his team will not be mere pushovers.

"I was the first to win the league for Bayelsa Queens and hope to replicate such managing Confluence Queens,” he told futbalgalore.blogspot.com after the team's training session on Wednesday evening.

“The big sides have all been saying Confluence Stadium will be the ground to pick points but we won’t allow ourselves to be pushed around.

“We will be very cautious and hit them on the counter.”
