Osahon urge Robo to perform, team to engage in quality friendly matches

Chief Coach of FC Robo Emmanuel Osahon wants his wards to perform better in the 2014 Nigeria Women Premier League.

The Lagos based sidde narrowly lost one-nil to Osun Babes at the Fountain University Pitch on Wednesday.

Despite the mass exodus of his core players, the former Union Bank FC star is still satisfied with what he has.

“We gave Osun Babes a good game, but I want my girls to perform better in the new season due to kickoff by 15th Febuary, 2014,” Osahon told futbalgalore.blogspot.com.

“In the new season we will go with the intention of presenting a good image, playing good games and above all coming away without injury or misfortune.

“Every good result strengthens us mentally and at an individual level it’s good for the players to have a good feeling because we need them all.

On his team's plans to play quality tune up matches, Osahon said that the team would play against Sunshine Queens, Tewo Queens and Tokas Queen in the coming week.

“Sunshine, Tewo and Tokas are the three teams we have lined up to play with in order to prepare the girls physically and mentally.”
