Nigeria international, Bright Dike, has been handed the number 7 jersey by his new MLS team, Toronto FC, as against his favourite number 19, which is in the custody of Reggie Lambe.
The big forward made headlines with his strong displays in international friendlies Nigeria played against Venezuela and Catalonia. He endeared himself to critical fans of the African side with a 'Super Goal' in the one-all draw against the Catalans.
"The number 7 is a good number,'' Dike said.
"I don't think anybody cares about what number you are wearing as long as the goals flow,'' he added.
The forward, who was traded in exchange for Maxi Urruti hopes his sterling shows in the US will attract the attention of Super Eagles boss Stephen Okechukwu Keshi.
