Administrator for Kogi United and Confluence Queens, Mallam Abdul Adama has described his appointment as a “new challenge but in a familiar terrain.”

Mallam Abdul who spoke on Tuesday in his office in a reaction to his appointment, appreciated the governor for the opportunity, promising he will use every ploy to revitalize the state government-sponsored clubs.
The Special Adviser to Governor Idris Wada on Public, Private Partnership, PPP, was on Monday confirmed the new administrator to oversee the activities of the state government sponsored clubs by the Kogi state government.
While stressing his resolve to take Kogi United and Confluence Queens to the next level, Mallam Abdul promised to use his wealth of experience to better the pedigree of the clubs.
He insisted that his leadership will welcome with wide-arms suggestions of Kogi stakeholders, supporters and veterans of the game.
“Well, on this new responsibility, this no special but a familiar ground to me – my immediate task is to meet the stakeholders with aim of chatting a way forward for the teams and planning ahead for the new season,” the installed media assistant, Samuel Ahmadu quoted him as saying.


It would be recalled that Mallam Abdul was the pioneer founder of Bukola babes FC (now ABS FC), a team he propelled from Nigeria NationWide League in the third tier to the top division of Nigeria Professional Football League.
