Flying Eagles midfielder, Chidi Osuchukwu completes a week to remember

Former Flying Eagles midfielder, Chidi Osuchukwu completed a week to remember, when he got among the goals in his first start for Portuguese Liga de Honra side, Sporting Braga, in their clash against UD Oliveirense. 

Braga won the tie 4-3 with Osuchukwu finding the net in the 71st minute. 

The former Dolphins of Port Harcourt star, who joined Braga after the U20 FIFA World Cup in Turkey, had only played test matches for Braga before last Saturday. 

But he was selected for the tie against Feirense, but made only a second half appearance, as he came on in place of Piqueti. 

Then, on Wednesday, he was was finally given his first start in the encounter against UD Oliveirense.

Zidnaba Djibril opened scoring in the 42th minute for Braga, but Khalidou Yero restored parity for the visitors just before the break. 

Then Yero made it 2-1 to Oliveirense with just a minute played in the second half. But within four minutes, it was all square again with Welthon getting on the scoresheet. 

Then, Osuchukwu got in on the act to give the hosts their second lead of the day, buy Ely again turned the game on its head just three minutes with yet another equaliser. 

But Braga will have the final say, as Diogo Ribeiro scored what proved to be the winner on 84 minutes.
