Dele Adeleye handed first league start, goes down with Anzhi

Nigerian defender Dele Adeleye was handed his first League start with Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala but that was all the good news as Anzhi were handed their fifth defeat of the season in Sunday’s 2-1 away loss to Volga.

The three goals from Sunday’s early kick off in Russia were recorded inside the first 23 minutes of the Week 9 tie which took place at the Stadion Lokomotiv in Nizhniy Novgorod.
