Southampton beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0 at The Hawthorns thanks to a late Rickie Lambert penalty.

That was also the score at the Stadium of Light where Paolo Di Canio’s Sunderland lost to Fulham’s Pajtim Kasami’s header eight minutes into the second half.
