Juventus have acted to make clear that Spain international Fernando Llorente will not be moved out of the club this summer.
Llorente only joined the Bianconeri in July, at the expiry of his contract with Athletic Bilbao, but has been hampered by speculation in the Italian media that he is not adapting to life under Antonio Conte.
It has led to Mundo Deportivo speculating earlier this week that the 28-year-old could be one of
Barcelona’s options for a late move in the transfer window.
On from this, though, the Italians have stated that the striker will be staying put.
“We believe in Llorente,” the Bianconeri’s director general Beppe has told today’s edition of Tuttosport.
“We have no intention of selling him.”
