Angry Bayelsa Queens Players Decamped After Meagre Payment

Bayelsa Queens were paid 15% of their sign-on-fee by the State Government, Futball Galore exclusively gathered on Wednesday night.

We further scooped from the camp base of the team that the outstanding 85% will be paid to the girls when they resume in the 2014/15 campaign.

The players who have been waiting for full payment of their entitlements weren't too happy with the development.

"This is unfair, these people are heartless and lack conscience. I am not happy at all," one of the players told Futball Galore.

A senior player on the payroll of the team almost shed tears while she spoke with us.

Another said, "I wonder if we will be paid the remaining 85%. God is watching them. How much is 15%?

Efforts to get accross to officials of the club proved abortive as their mobile phones were switched off.

The girls have been decamped for the Christmas Holidays and will resume in the second week of January.
