The second goal came three minutes later through the scoring boot of Collins Obioma Arinze.
John Paul scored midway into the second half to seal the win for Lobi Stars who will open their Nigeria Professional Football League campaign against Bayelsa United, while Nasarawa United have a big tie against Elkanemi Warriors.
