Marcos Cafu says sacked coach Massimiliano Allegri isn't fully to blame for their dismal season.
Cafu also backed his former teammate, Clarence Seedorf, to succeed Allegri.
"The fault is never 100 per cent of the coach, but half is the players also. Milan is always Milan and now must be able to make a comeback in the league.
"Seedorf the next coach of Milan? Let's hope so, it's a difficult choice, he can do very well, has a very strong personality and I hope he will do very well at Milan."
