Give me the job - Zdravko tells Pillars

Kano Pillars have been made aware that Zdravko Logarusic would be interested in the vacant head coach's job at the club, but the former Simba SC tactician has not directly applied.

The reigning Nigeria Professional Football League champions are currently searching for a new coach after they axed their former coach Felix Okey Emordi on Monday 20th July following a poor run of results that have left the defending champions 9th on the log and also being knocked out of the CAF Champions League and the Federation Cup.

Zdravko obtained three different football Coaching Diplomas and Licenses in Croatia, Australia and UEFA PRO License.

He has worked as a coach in 4 continents - Europe, Australia, USA and Africa, with 20 years of coaching experience.

The coach is fluent in English and would have no trouble communicating with players and the media as well.

“I believe I am more capable to handle Kano Pillars with my years of experience in the coaching job, I believe I can do a good job,” the coach told Futball Galore.

“My application should be delivered to Kano on Tuesday July 21. If given the chance to serve I will lead the team to the league title,” he assured.

As at the time of filing this report, no coach has thrown his hat into the ring. The management of the club are weighing up their next move and will make an announcement before the league resumes in the next two weeks.

Assistant coach Ahmed 'Yaro Yaro' Garba will take charge of the team on interim basis before a new head coach is appointed.
