Kwara United will host the Blue Angels
at the Kwara Stadium Complex in a match day 17 Nigeria Professional
Football League encounter.
The former Wikki Tourists gaffer said at his training ground on Friday in Ilorin that he hopes to complete a resurgent week on a high note after some poor run of form.
He said the goalless draw against FC Taraba in Makurdi on Saturday and 5-3 penalties shootout victory over A.B.U Zaria in the Federation Cup in Minna on Wednesday are good ways to go into the game.
"There won't be water for Sharks to swim in Ilorin on Sunday," the coach was quoted by the club's media officer Owolewa Yinka.
"Our target is the three maximum points and we will won't settle for anything less. Some of my injured players that are back are now integrating well into the team," the coach explained.
"I'm not comfortable with our position and a response to that should start on Sunday against Sharks," he said in a confident tone.
"Yes, we have had a couple of bad days recently but we are ready to make amendments to that. The Federation Cup victory on Wednesday
is a good tonic to come into this game because the boys fought well to
advance to the round of 16, so I expect them to take that into their
game on Sunday and still do better," Abdulrahman added.
Kwara United currently occupies the 17th position on the
log with 16 points from a possible 45 with a game in hand against Warri
Wolves.
