Midtjylland defensive midfielder Izunna Uzochukwu has joined Russian
Premier League side FK Amkar Perm on a three-year contract for an
undisclosed fee, Futball Galore exclusively gathered.
Izunna, 25, penned the deal on Tuesday at the Club’s headquarters in Perm after passing a medical.
A statement from Victor Uzochukwu to Futball Galore confirmed that the midfielder moved to Russia from his mother club, Midtjylland.
“Izunna is very happy to be a FK Amkar Perm player for the next three years and hopefully his time there will bring a lot of success,” his brother Victor Uzochukwu revealed to only Futball Galore.
The midfielder who prominently featured in Midtjylland's Danish Superliga triumph last season will have the company of compatriot Fegor Ogude.
Izunna had defended the colours of Midtjylland for seven years before the switch to his new club.
