Nigeria National League outfit, Prime Football Club, have asked head
coach Abimbola Samuel, to step aside till the season comes to an end.
According to a statement from the club, the former Sunshine Stars gaffer has been relieved of his duty post.
“The management committee of Prime FC have relieved Abimbola Samuel from his responsibilities as head coach of Prime."
“The club would like to thank Abimbola Samuel for his services to the club, in the time that he has been with us, and we do wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” read the statement.
In his absence assistant coaches Shina Afolabi, Deji Ayeni, Tunji Baruwa and Anayo Affor will take charge of the team on temporarily bases.
The Omoluabi Giants are currently 9th position on the log with 22 points from 16 matches.
