Turkish club Rizespor have announced the acquisition of Nigeria defender Godfrey Oboabona.
According to a statement on the club's official website signed by the club's director and press officer Spacious Aykut, the ex-Sunshine Stars captain sealed a four year deal.
AFCON 2013 winner will formalise the deal with contract signing ceremony as well as unveiling on Thursday August 22 at Rizespor Mehmet Cengiz club house.
The versatile player, who could play central defence, defensive midfield or right fullback, is expected to earn 450,000 Euros a year.
Oboabona arrived Turkey on Tuesday to seal the celebrated deal.
He became the second Nigeria player at Rizespor as he joined ex-Enyimba striker Uche Kalu.
