Naija Player In Focus- Michael Eneramo

Michael Eneramo was born on 26th November, 1985 in Kaduna. He is a Nigerian striker, currently playing for Beşiktaş in the Turkish Süper League.


The free-scoring forward has created the reputation for being the top-man in any league he plies his trade.

He started his professional career at Lobi Stars FC of Nigeria in and earned a big money move to the Golden Boys of Tunisian Football, Esperance Sportive. He netted an impressive 51 goals in 84 appearances for the big side.

Eneramo was given his national team break by ex-Super Eagles gaffer Amodu Shuaibu during the qualifying campaign for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and AFCON tourney. He notched 3 goals in 10 apperances.

He also enjoyed loan spells in USM Alger and Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia.

He joined Sivasspor in the summer of 2011 and scored 29 goals in 77 games.

In the summer of 2013, it was announced that the Esperance fans favourite has moved to join Besiktas.
