KF Kukes grants Ohawuchi trial

Stanley Ohawuchi is having a trial with Albanian club KF Kukes. The Sleima Wanderers forward got the permission of his club management to try out with Kukes.

The former Heartland man joined KF Kukes’s winter training camp in Antalya after with a view to impress the Albanian side.

The Nigerian forward has been one of Sliema’s outstanding performers this season and is second in the Premier League’s top scorers list with 12 goals.

Although Sliema are reluctant to part with one of their leading players, club president Keith Perry is unlikely to stand in Ohawuchi’s way.

Meanwhile, Wanderers' gaffer Alfonso Greco is running the rule over Udo Nwoko.

The winger-cum-forward, who had a short spell with Floriana last season, began a trial with the Wanderers.
