Five Nigeria female footballers, Osaremona Igbinovia, Alaba Jonathan,
Gladys Abasi, Adisa Grace and Amarachi Okoronkwo are set to continue
their career in the UAE after signing for Al-Wahda Sport.
Among the five players only Adisa Grace is yet to be capped by Nigeria at youth level, as the remaining four have all turned out for Nigeria at female youth world cup.
Igbinovia is an attacking midfielder and she featured for Nigeria at the last Under-20 world cup, while Gladys a central defender was at the last edition of the female U-20 world cup.
Central midfielder Amarachi is also a veteran of two female Under-20 world cups, in 2010 and 2014, goalkeeper Alaba completes the quartet of Ex Falconents squad who will be plying their trade in the oil rich country.
The deal was brokered by rising female football agent Rukkaya Yunusa, according to her she is one of the most lucrative deals to have been struck by female footballers in Nigeria.
"I am proud to be the one to broker one of the most lucrative deals in the history of female football in Nigeria" She told SL10.ng from Dubai.
"The three players are the first among the players I brought here, so in the coming days I will hopefully confirm some signings as well"
