Sope Ahmed Completes Oruba Move

Nigeria defender Sope Ahmed has signed a four-month contract with Omani Professional League side Al Oruba after a successful medical.

The former Kwara United star completed his move alongside three other foreigners at the Sur Sports Complex on Monday.

Ahmed, a central defender will begin training with the league leaders on Wednesday.

The ex 3SC player hopes his new team wins the league title.

“I am glad that the transfer worked out, because I again get the chance to play in the Professional League,” Ahmed told Futball Galore.

“We are on top of the table and I hope the lads consolidate and win the league title.”
