Ogunjobi Retains Osun FA Seat

Former Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, has retained his seat as the chairman of Osun State Football Association unopposed in a 'yes or no' vote.

The election which was monitored and supervised by NFF representative Dr. Christian Emeruwa and top football philanthropists in Osun State was conducted in a conducive atmosphere at the Oshogbo Township Stadium.

Engineer Jimoh Olayemi was elected as the vice-chairman of the association unopposed.

Other members voted into the board are; Honourable Emmanuel Adeniyi representing Obokun, Oriade Federal Constituency, Engineer Kehinde Aina representing Boluwaduro, Ila Federal Constituency, Prince Ademola Bamidele representing Ifelodun, Boripe Federal Constituency, and Salawu Adisa, representing Oshogbo/Irepodun/Orolu Federal Constituency

Also elected is the immediate past PRO Osun State Sports Council, Prince Dauda Abimbola, to represent Iwo, Aiyedire and Olaoluwa Federal Constituency, Honourable Suleiman Adio represent Aiyedade, Isokan Federal Constituency, while Ife Central, East and North Federal Constituency election was won by the President of Ajirooba Ooni FC of Ile- Ife, Otunba Mustapha Isola Rasaq.

Salau Adisa and Prince Dauda Abimbola, are the two new faces in the nine-man board.
