Onazi out of action for eight weeks

Lazio's midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has reportedly fractured his tibia and fibula after a tackle from Blaise Matuidi during France’s win over Nigeria yesterday.

Reports in the Italian media says the 21-year-old faces two months on the side-lines, for a challenge that lead to his been stretchered off with what appeared at first to be an ankle injury on his left leg.
Onazi's eventual substitution lead to the collapse of the Nigeria midfield and the team conceded twice after then.

However the man whose tackle might have fractured the Nigeria's midfielder's leg tweeted an apology to Ogenyi Onazi insisting it wasn't intentional.

The man in the picture Onazi posted an image of his lower leg and ankle in a cast yesterday evening, with the text: “Thanks to every one for your prayers, will be fine by his grace God bless Nigeria.”
